In this workshop, you will gain an understanding of the differences between Lightroom and Photoshop in order to determine why you would choose to work in one as opposed to the other. Denise will demonstrate how to use the powerful tools of LR Develop and PS Camera Raw to improve exposure, contract, saturation and clarity; make selective adjustments; and apply noise reduction, sharpening, B&W conversion, lens correction, and more!

As a travel photographer Ivan Rothman will discuss what camera equipment and computer equipment to bring. And how to carry bulky camera
equipment onto a plane and avoid transporting it in checked luggage with the risks of lost or damaged equipment. He will give advice on clothing, sun protection, insect protection, where to go and who to go with. And health concerns for travel.

Ivan will share photographic tips for being in the field as a wildlife photographer.  What makes a good or better photograph. And how to organize images in Lightroom, Photoshop and other software programs. Plus how to share images – printed photos, slideshow, books.

Parish will share his philosophy about, and passion for, the art of photography.  And how true artists strive for perfection in any field. He encourages everyone to explore, experiment and enjoy, pushing themselves outside of their comfort zone.

Parish exposes the beauty in all things that surround us in our everyday lives including landscapes, florals, and the human form and challenges you to do so as well.

    • This is the time to enjoy a more hearty than usual continental breakfast & to chat with the vendors and browse through their products. It is also a time to greet friends made at last years workshop or time to make new friends.
